We have been informed by CallArc team on twitter that they are about to launch their service to make totally free international calls. The service that Callarc is going to provide is much similar to REBTEL’s Free Call which is in the most popular offers of the week. CallArc is an ad-based Free Phone Call service provider, similar to Ringplus. Ringplus was one of our favorite providers until they made it mandatory to have some phone credit in your account in order to be able to make free calls. In this case the advertisers pay for your calls and you have to listen to a short ad. In case of Free online calls you will need to get ad credits by watching ads similar to what Globe7 did initially.
How to get CallArc
Callarc has not yet launched this service, but you can register with them and you will receive an email as soon as they go live. Moreover, they are sending beta invites to users so that they can test their service before they launch it. If you are lucky you might get one invite to try your hands on the service. The best thing is that with beta invites you do not hear any ad and all your international calls are still totally free.
How does CallArc Free international calling work
It is as easy as anything to make Free international calls using Callarc. All you have to do is to call a local access number in your country. Callarc currently has local access numbers in 40 countries. If you happen to be in one of these countries you will get a local callback number for each and every contact that you store. Moreover, when you dial that local number your party will get a call and all you have to do is to tell them to call on the number displayed on the caller id they see. When they call you back, you both will get connected and can talk for free.
If you are not in one of these 40 countries you can use the web dialer if there are advertisers supporting calls from your country. We highly doubt that Callarc will be able to provide this service in many countries. For instance Jaxtr started a similar service with Indian local numbers but they had to close it soon enough. We wish Callarc best of luck and hope that they go live soon.
